New cruise ships will be LNG-powered

Princess Cruises have announced they have ordered two new 175,000 GRT 4,300-passenger cruise ships from Fincantieri. They will be built in Monfalcone, Italy.

The two new ships will be the first LNG-powered cruise ships for Carnival Corporation that are being built in Italy and are due in Late 2023 and Spring 2025.

Princess Cruises’ next new ship to launch is Sky Princess, due in November 2019.
