Norwegian Escape (Norwegian Cruise Line)

Norwegian Escape is the first of two Breakaway Plus-class cruise ships. A larger class than the previous Breakaway-class ships, these ships are 7000 GRT bigger. The ship is currently NCL’s flagship.

Norwegian Escape offers a vast array of dining options with 29 restaurants, 22 lounges and bars to choose from! Unique features to this class include The Waterfront; a quarter-mile oceanfront promenade lined with bars and restaurants, allowing you to sit out “at sea” and enjoy the views and fresh air. Other features not commonly found on most cruise ships include The Snow Room – an ice-cold arctic environment for you to relax in with real snow!

NCL chose a Godfather rather than Godmother to name their ship. Norwegian Escape was named by rapper “Pitbull” at a naming ceremony in Miami on November 9, 2015.
