MSC Lirica (MSC Cruises)

Overview

MSC Lirica was MSC’s first newbuild ship. She was launched in 2002 and sailed on her maiden voyage in March 2003. MSC Lirica is identical to her sister ship MSC Opera built in 2004.

Trivia

During a 2 year refurbishment in 2014-2015, MSC Lirica was cut and stretched to fit an extra 80-foot mid-section. This operation saw Lirica gain nearly 200 new cabins.
