MS Eurodam (Holland America Line)

Overview

As the first of two Signature-class ships, MS Eurodam when launched in 2008 was right at the start of the current cruise ship boom. Offering multiple restaurants and bars, the ship moved away from the single dining room concept and made the ship a more “resort at sea” rather than the older cruise ship formula.

Spending most of the summer performing roundtrip cruises in the Western Mediterranean she is very popular with European guests. By December it is time for her to re-position and she performs frequent roundtrip cruises from Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean.

Trivia

MS Eurodam’s diesel generators can produce 64 MW of power at their peak. That’s the equivalent of 64,000 homes!
