Symphony gets her azipods installed
Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas construction continues with her bow superstructure being added – in these new photos taken in late May 2017 (directly from the shipyard at STX France, St. Nazaire), you can see the progress being made on the main hull and superstructure of the ship is nearing completion. She recently has had her four azipods installed at the stern of the ship.[xyz-ihs snippet=”cmeet2-fold”]
The 16-deck 230,000 gross registered ton ship is due to launch in April 2018.
Some of the most popular features of the previous three Oasis-class ships will return, including: Aqua Theater, FlowRider, The Ultimate Abyss, The Perfect Storm and Central Park. The ship will be officially the world’s largest cruise ship – offering 28 extra staterooms than her older sister ships (Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas)[xyz-ihs snippet=”cmeet2-lower”]
