Mariner of the Seas under refurbishment

Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas gets an upgrade!

Mariner of the Seas is currently receiving a $120-million dollar refurbishment in Cadiz, Spain. The ship currently has over 1,940 contractors from 54 different nations working on the ship (alongside the existing 1,400 crew!) around the clock and will bring over 1,100 shipping containers worth of equipment and new gear onboard the ship for the refurb!

The biggest change the ship will see is the installation of the new SkyPad (the virtual reality bungee-style attraction!) new waterslides and a brand-new FlowRider. Additional new panoramic staterooms on the top deck will be added with floor-to-ceiling windows!
