Time flies when you are
having fun building ships it seems! Royal Caribbean International’s Harmony of the Seas is just over a mere 6 months away from her debut in Southampton! Currently under construction at STX France in their St. Nazaire shipyard, the 227,000 tonne ship is sure to impress on her launch.
The third in their Oasis-class fleet will include some of the much loved features of her older sisters (Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas) and no doubt some of the more popular features found aboard the new Quantum-class ships (apart from the Northstar attraction we assume)
Harmony of the Seas will be 1,187 feet long and 218 feet wide – making her the biggest cruise ship in the world! She’ll carry a whopping 5,497 guests who will all bed down at night in the 2,747 staterooms and will be all lovingly looked after by the 2,300 crew!
We’ll have a full profile of Harmony of the Seas shortly – but for now, have a look at this infographic that Royal Caribbean have released!
