Symphony gets her bow superstructure added

Royal Caribbean International’s Symphony of the Seas construction continues with her bow superstructure being added – in these new photos taken in late April 2017 (directly from the shipyard at STX France, St. Nazaire), you can see the progress being made on the main hull and superstructure of the ship is nearing completion.

The 16-deck 230,000 gross registered ton ship is due to launch in April 2018.

Some of the most popular features of the previous three Oasis-class ships will return, including: Aqua Theater, FlowRider, The Ultimate Abyss, The Perfect Storm and Central Park. The ship will be officially the world’s largest cruise ship – offering 28 extra staterooms than her older sister ships (Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas)

She will homeport at Port Miami at the brand-new Crown of Miami 170,000 sq foot (currently under construction) terminal that Royal Caribbean International are building just for their ships.
